ServantCare provides access to affordable and confidential Christian Counseling to PCA pastors and employees.
Men and women who work in ministry face unique challenges. They are cross-pressured by the time commitments of ministry, church conflicts, personal finances, relational stresses, personal sin, and issues of the heart.
We know there are times when ministry workers would benefit from Christian counseling. However, for some, solid Christian counseling in a secure environment may not be available or affordable.
In order to assist our PCA ministries in shepherding their staff, PCA Retirement & Benefits has partnered with Christian Counseling and Education Foundation and the Global Counseling Network to offer ServantCare Counseling, a service which provides Christian counseling that is convenient, confidential, affordable, and effective.
Step 1: Enrollment
You are eligible to participate in ServantCare Counseling if you are an employee of a PCA church or related ministry and reside in the United States of America.
To provide benefits, the employer (church, school, organization, etc.) must complete an Insurance and Counseling Adoption Form for the organization and a PCA Benefit Plan Enrollment Form for each employee covered by the benefit. Each employee will then be responsible for initiating counseling services.
Step 2: Choose Your Counseling Provider
PCA Retirement & Benefits partners with the Global Counseling Network (GCN) and the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (CCEF). to provide ServantCare Counseling. Participants are required to select a single provider network and must remain with the selected provider network until the end of the calendar year. In most occasions, eligible participants can register and schedule appointments on the month following the receipt of both the Insurance Adoption Agreement and the Enrollment Form.
Sessions 1-3: Free
Sessions 4 & 5: co-share of $38 each.
Sessions 6 & 7: co-share of $47.50 each.
Counseling services are available through video conference calls or phone.
Your privacy is important to us. We have provided our counseling partners with a comprehensive list of enrolled ministry employees. In the unlikely event that one of our partners cannot find your information you will be instructed to contact a designated person at PCA Retirement & Benefits to verify your eligibility. We will only use this information to ensure you are included in both provider’s lists of eligible participants. No record of your counseling services are made known to PCA Retirement & Benefits as our providers protect your identity when billing.
